Jawbone UP’s food tracking gets better with the latest update

The much talked about fitness wristband Jawbone UP gets an update that will make the wearable much more lovable by its devoted users. The Jawbone UP 3.2 update will help you track your food intake in a much easier way than it previously was. The wristband most people use just to track their steps and sleep patterns can now be used without much fuss to log in your eating patterns sans the monotony that formerly prevented most users from tracking their food.

Users had to enter their food log by passing through some 15 touches searching the Jawbone database to find the food they have eaten , buit with the recent update available now the app by itself tells your frequent pairings as well as your recent entries.

“[Previously], you needed to add things over and over, and it took 15-20 taps to go through that,” says Travis Bogard, Jawbone’s vice president of product management and strategy,”We’ve sped up that entire process to just a few taps.”
