Evernote, the app that has got rave reviews on its efficiency in helping people tackle their everyday worries now has jumped onto the wearable bandwagon, in an attempt to give its religious users more of an unobtrusive way to their lists and documents.
Most of the Evernote users might think of the necessity to pull up their phone time and again to check on their progress and to strike off the done ones as a not so easy chore. So here’s one for all those owning a wearable and going through similar stuff.
Damien Mehers, senior software engineer for Evernote, on the latest update to the wearable section says,
“It would be nice if Evernote just popped that information up for me in an unobtrusive way,”
He also adds that it would be even better if Evernote could just pop out the notifications based on the users surroundings. Like if he is at home the app could recogniz0e the place and choose the notes or to do list concerning his house all by itself. Much like the internet of things such an update would possibly make life easier.
The company just released the app for Android Wear and the features include adding notes by voice commands and checking off them by tapping on the watch among others. Ultimately the team wants to build an app that would allay the user from the tedious process of searching through their digital notes.
