Sunrise Calendar app has launched on Android phones and desktop. The app was only available on the iPhone and iPad until today. Sunrise for Android has been designed with a specific mindset for the Android platform. It smartly plugs into multiple services, like Facebook, Foursquare, and LinkedIn, as well as your multiple Google Calendars to provide a comprehensive look at your upcoming day, week, and month.
It has two visualisations: Agenda view (with photos, icons and weather) and the 3-day view to have a quick glance at your schedule. There is also an Android widget to put your events on your home screen.
Sunrise for Web both as a web app available from anywhere at calendar.sunrise.am and as a Chrome app (with offline capabilities). Some Outstanding features includes a beautiful design built specifically for desktop,full content view, you can synchronise your Sunrise account between Desktop and Mobile.
Sunrise for Android, Chrome and the Web currently supports Google and iCloud calendars. The Exchange support available in the iOS version will be integrated in future updates.
“For us, mobile is important, but it is even more important to have more platforms,” Valade said. “Calendar users still spend a lot of time in front of their computer screen to create events.”
