Microsoft wants to take your MacBook Air for money to give you a Surface Pro

Microsoft this week announced a new program for trading-in the MacBook Air for upto $650, for a new Surface Pro 3. The promotion is valid only for the MacBook Air, which the company used during the keynote to demo the weight of the new Surface Pro 3.

If you ever dare to lose your MacBook Air for a money, this is the right opportunity for you. The Redmond based giant announced its new edition of its tablet device, the Surface Pro 3 during an event recently. The new device comes with features that are pretty compelling. The Surface Pro 3 comes with a kickstand, which lets you set the position of the tablet in a more convenient way.

Microsoft has been trying to push the Surface Pro 3 to the customers, and this is one way they are trying to get the tablet to as many users as possible. The trade-in programs are not new to the company’s store. Previously, and even now, Microsoft accepts iDevices and other devices like the gaming consoles for their products, but this is the first time the company has come up with a program for the MacBook Air.

It’s not like you get the MacBook Air to the store, and get a Surface Pro 3 for just $150. The representative at the store will verify the state of the MacBook Air, and then get you the price at which they can take the product in. Well, Microsoft, why can’t we try for something else?
