Isoplex is a Popcorn Time kind torrent-streaming service from ISOHunt

Isoplex is a torrent streaming service that works on the lines of Popcorn Time, coming from the ISOHunt, one of the biggest torrent tracker. Popcorn Time is a cross-platform open-source movie streaming application that is powered by BitTorrent. Users can use the app to stream movies directly from the torrents with the help of an app, killing services like Netflix and Hulu.

The app was a huge hit among the audience considering the fact that the service lets you watch almost any movie that is available for piracy, and does not have to wait for the companies to release it to the public online.

Today, Isoplex is now out. While we are not sure if its a fork of Popcorn Time, we’re sure that ISOHunt will be pushing the new app to its user base. The app is now available for Windows, Linux and Mac.

The idea of streaming torrents directly into an app was something genius. The Popcorn Time started off as a small project by a team of developers, which turned out to be something bigger than they thought. The moment it was open-sourced, the app was translated into six new languages within just 24 hours. The popularity for the app is still alive, and kicking among the users.

Popcorn Time makes use of the API that Yify provides, and allows the users to stream the torrent on demand, with the chunks in order. This is literally a huge risk that the developers of the app are involved. Hollywood is definitely not happy with the way piracy is going and since Popcorn Time streams Hollywood’s most popular movies that are copyrighted, they’re already under the radar.

Now that ISOHunt has branched out into this new service, we’re sure there will be some trouble coming up to them from Hollywood.
