Well, here it comes. Google has officially confirmed to the attendees who are making it to its annual developers conference, Google I/O, that they can buy a Google Glass for themselves during the conference.
The company, sent out an update email about the know-hows of the conference recently, mentioning a dedicated section in the Moscone Center, called Glass Basecamp. At the Basecamp, developers who are attending I/O can get their hands-on with the Glass, and also buy it on the spot.
Google is yet to confirm the details about the pricing of the Glass unit, but we will get some clarity on that this Tuesday.
We expect the production version of Glass unit to be different from the previous versions that Glass Explorers have been trying out. And also, this confirms that Google is going to be selling the Glass units to the public, and has something to show about Glass during the Keynote.
