Yup. You read that right. Pay your college tuition with digital currency. King’s College, a conservative evangelical college in New York City is the first of it’s kind. They’re letting students pay their college education in BitCoins. They’ll be accepting this currency even for donations!
“Allowing Bitcoin to be used to pay for a King’s education decreases our costs while simultaneously allowing our students to be a part of this exciting new technology.
The college has signed with Coin.co, which will aid the institution in processing the digital currency payment. Just like the first colleges to use email addresses for students, this move will solidify that BitCoins aren’t just for technology companies.
