This is what students at a design school sneak out for!

We don’t know what the teachers at Ohio’s Columbus College of Art and Design are teaching, but the students there sure do have some awesome talent! A pair of students sneak out every night and leave amazing artwork on chalkboards. And all of this is made from chalk. This mysterious typography-loving duo call their project “Dangerdust”. They turn famous quotes into gorgeous chalk art.

If this is what their graffiti looks like, I can’t wait to see their works of art!

These are supposed to be works of vandalism, but they’re just too beautiful to be shunned! And it’s aptly named as Dangerdust. The work was inspired as a way for the duo to escape their monotonous lives at college. They say at an interview with CCAD,

“I think we’re tired of the computer, and [chalking] gives us motivation.”

Each work of art takes nearly 11 hours to complete. They are designed, crafted and chalked-in on Sunday and Monday nights.

Like typical college kids, Dangerdust has gained lots of attention from social media. Their profiles can be found on Twitter, Behance, Instagram and Tumblr.

“I didn’t think anything was going to happen, [but] people were like, ‘Yeah, I’ve seen that on Instagram!’ We get so giddy over 10 likes on Instagram.”

You can see more on their artwork here, including the entire article.
