Moto E is a 4.3-inch Android smartphone from Google, running Android KitKat, which is now available in India starting May 14th for ₹ 6,999. The Moto E is expected to create a huge ripple in the sub- ₹ 10,000 smartphone market.
Motorola’s two devices, the Moto G and the Moto X have been selling like nothing else in India, and today, the company unveiled it’s yet another smartphone that is meant to eat up companies like Micromax and Karbonn, who are known for selling Android smartphone with high-end like feature set in India.
Moto E comes with a 4.3-inch display which has a really good resolution for that price range, 960x540p. The device comes with the latest version of Android, the Android KitKat, and the ad campaign that is running for the device clearly mentions that the device will receive future Android updates, which is considered to be the biggest concern for almost any Android smartphone buyer in India. With the option for expandable memory cards, the device comes with a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, with a GB of RAM and 4GB internal storage.
This ₹ 6,999 device comes with a 1,980mAh batter and Motorola promises a all-day battery life with one full charge cycle. This is not all. To add up to the feature list, the build of the device is super good, with the ability to be water-resistant and also scratch-resistant.
Moto E comes in both Black and White and just like the Moto G, the swappable back covers are also available for purchase separately. This move by Motorola is pure genius. While the smartphone manufactures across the world are trying to create smartphone with fingerprint scanners and other features that are not so damn impressive to the general public, Motorola has come up with a device to fill up the space that was missing quality and design elements.
Goodbye Micromax and Karbonn!
