Micromax has a new CEO, who migrated from Samsung

Indian brand Micromax, after giving a tough competition to Indian Market settles with its new CEO,Vineet Taneja a former mobile chief of Samsung India.

Vineet Taneja has over 25 years of experience, has worked with many consumer brands like Nokia ,Hindustan Lever and Bharti Airtel prior to Samsung. He has served a very short span of only 1 year as the mobile chief of Samsung. Micromax, the second leading Indian mobile market holder has already had a bad backend technical person supports.

Vineet Taneja added,

We are witnessing an inflection point in the smart devices globally. Therefore, it is a great opportunity for me to lead Micromax into its next phase of growth by consolidating and further strengthening its position in India, and looking at global markets to complete its transition of becoming a global force to reckon with.

After the resigning of Micromax former CEO, Deepak Mehrotra has quit the firm putting up personal reasons as background, Sharma was heading the firm until now.

Earlier this month quitting of Taneja from Samsung was talked within the firm, but Samsung refused to comment over the issue.

With striking new phones and ideas, added with the strategy of Taneja let’s see if Micromax can grab the top place in Indian mobile Industry. 😀
