The company verbalises this is not an exhaustive list of what to expect in the next version, but merely what it is currently confident that it will be able to distribute.

A new set of features that are now in development for Internet Explorer, including:Web Audio API, Media Capture and Streams, ES6 Promises, and HTTP/2.

HTTP/2 is a more expeditious protocol for conveying Web content. It is predicated on Google’s SPDY open networking protocol and is currently being standardized by the IETF.JavaScript is single-threaded, so you can only run one script at a time. Media Capture provides access to the user’s local audio and video input/output devices.  With Promises, developers get a standardized way to make asynchronous calls in their code.

Improved search and filter, deep linking, better mobile support and performance are the changes they have made.
