Elections might not be as feverish as a Pakistan-India cricket match, but all the hype and hoopla is still there. India, the largest democracy in the world reveals it’s election results today. After a month of casting votes and painting nails, the result will be finally revealed today.
This is one of the most significant elections of the country. This time around, voters had an option to choose “NOTA”, which means that “I choose no one”. This is truly a move in the right direction in the path of democracy.
This was one heated elections for the country, from the Rahul Gandhi trolls to the endless Narendra Modi campaigns, “Abki baar, Modi sarkar!”, things have been super interesting. From the street parties to the street fights, India is really dancing to the election beat!

Google has been very active in the 2014 elections. It’s had a host of services to monitor the progress. Last month it introduced the “Know Your Candidate” app, which let you enter any Indian PIN code and find out the more about your local candidates. Though this mammoth tech company has been accused of rigging the Lok Sabha elections, things did smoothen over time. And now you can use this Google service to watch live updates of the 2014 election results.
