Finding our friends in Facebook for the first time using Search, never really takes us the right way! 😛 Facebook is trying out new methods to improve this functionality. This method has been called “Shortcut” that’s not too dissimilar from sharing your phone numbers to get connected.
This new features offers an 8-digit number that help you find you friends quick and easy.If you enter the “shortcut” number of your friend, the app directly navigates to your friend’s profile.
The feature has been rolled out to few users, as a test service. This feature has been introduced keeping in mind People’s privacy. People are never ready to trade their Mobile number due to privacy problems,to overcome comes the 8-digit Shortcut.
I know, this is just similar to Blackberry Messenger’s special number Let’s give this a try.
