Indian Airtel Users has reached their saturation point and started moving to other Service Providers. Airtel has now made its move.
We know the popularity WhatsApp has gained in just a couple of years. WhatsApp has crossed 50 Million Active Monthly Users only in India,which now adds India to its list of largest country with Active users. Airtel once had the market, now as a personal Airtel user I’ve been bugged up by their No-New Services.
Airtel has now introduced a WhatsApp only Data Pack for its Indian users which obviously would be a successful plan.
Depending the area the price rates vary between Rs.36 and Rs.49 providing 200Mb of WhatsApp only data usage.This is not the first tie up WhatsApp has done in India, Tata Docomo,Uninor and RCom have already established their connection with WhatsApp.
This mobile messaging service comes after the acquisition of Whatsapp by the social networking giant Facebook, who has subsequently planned to launch voice calling services to get to a greater height.
Airtel users can text “Whatsapp” to 121 to activate the plan.
