Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) for the year 2014 will begin on June 2nd in San Francisco, just hours ago, and our team is already getting back to the paper to plan things for the event.
The event would happen from June 2nd and will end on 6th of June this year. The conference is focused to enlighten and bring out that spirit from the upcoming iOS developers about the future iOS and OS X by offering them with the latest tools and technologies along with many technical hands-on sessions.

Registrations
Interested developers can sign up behind the included in random selection between now and April 7 at 10 AM PT,The tickets are available in the WWDC website. Last year the tickets were sold out in mere minutes.
This is the first time Apple has used a lottery system instead of just letting tickets be sold to the first people to sign up for them once ticket sales open.
What to expect?
We can expect official unveiling of iOS 8, and the next version of OS X to be the main focus. As both these OS received considerable upgrades last year, with the redesigned iOS 7 taking center stage during WWDC 2013.This year, it’ll boast over 100 technical sessions, led by over 1,000 actual Apple engineers and developers.
There’s one more thing to note here. Apple’s slogan for this year’s event is Write the code. Change the world. Which sounds interesting, and we are expecting a hell a lot of APIs from iOS 8 and the next version of OS X to be available for the developers.
“We have the most amazing developer community in the world and have a great week planned for them,”
says Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of marketing.

The Big Fat Tech Agenda
This year’s event has got one of the most unique events. As with any other WWDC, the event will witness the Keynote by Tim Cook, and then, the floor will be open to all the developers to take their sessions and their respective labs.
The bash is something that always excites us, apart from the Keynote and other tech sessions. With loud music, and exceptionally energetic developer crowd, the place would be completely vibrant.
There’s also something new to note in this year’s agenda. Which is Leave the code behind. This aims to entertain events throughout the week, and give developers a balance between work and play.
More than anything, we are super excited to witness the Oscars for the developers, the Apple Design Award, in which the most talented developers with well designed apps would be awarded. And if there’s a voting system, we would vote for Paul from Tapbots.
With the hustle everywhere it wouldn’t be a great surprise if Apple unviels its new hardware, since it hasn’t turned much to the hardware side lately this year. What to expect ? May be the Bombastic iWatch.
P.S: While this is happening in San Francisco, where only 6,000 developers can accommodate, we are planning to have a small meet up in Chennai for our readers. More details to follow.
