Valve opens Beta registrations for Steam In-Home Streaming

Gamers who are looking forward to test out Valve’s new ‘Steam In-Home Streaming’ service can now sign up for the box to test it out in their living room.

Valve announced the In-Home Streaming systems that allows gamers to stream games from one machine to another within a household. The company has opened up a new portal, allowing the gamers to register to test out the machine.

Upon registering Valve will send out some details about the device, and the company also reveals that the service will be open to the beta testers later this year. The selection criteria is nothing but random. Right now, gamers will be able to register for the company’s Steam group set up.

Valve is bringing the in-home streaming service to the SteamOS, which is a Linux based operating system that was unveiled earlier. The company is also looking at bringing a different gaming experience to the users in the living room by manufacturing devices that would give them a better gaming experience.
