The launch day is here. Apple’s latest tablet, the iPad Air is now available for purchase from the Online Apple Store in the US, and the device will also hit the stores today starting 8 am in different countries across the world, including China.
The iPad Air comes with a $499 price tag for the Wi-Fi only 16GB model, and it shoots upto $929 for the LTE-enabled 128GB model in the US. While the sale is now live on some of the Online Apple Stores across the world, reports say that the Honk Kong Apple Store is already out of iPad Air, due to the heavy online orders.
The iPad Air was launched during a special event in San Francisco, where the company revealed the iPad Air, iPad Mini with Retina Display, Mavericks for FREE and upgrade to the MacBook Pro line-up. The iPad Air comes with a 2048 x 1536 resolution display and a powerful A7 processor which is already topping the benchmarks, according to AnandTech.
iPad Air is available in two colors, Space Gray and the Silver. We’re not sure why Apple has missed out the Gold option for the iPad Air. While the iPad Mini with Retina Display is yet to be out to the market, the unveiling during the event has stirred some interest in people who would want the device. The iPad Mini with Retina Display will be available later in November, and we are still not sure about the release date of the device.
