CyanogenMod to bring Native Screen Recording on its devices.

If you’re a developer or a blogger, then this is something which you will be missing on any mobile device. The screen recording feature. While its super easy to record your screen actions on Desktop computers, it’s never been easy to do that without hacking or breaking into stuff on your mobile device. But now, thanks to CyanogenMod’s Koushik Dutta, who is working on integrating the screen recording feature right into the build.

With a very easy combination of Volume Up and Power Button, the recording would start, right on your device, running CyanogenMod. While we are not sure when this feature will be shipped, we can predict from the video that the feature integration is almost done.

While there are some apps that do such kind of screen recording on Android devices already, there’s nothing as easy as getting it out of the box. The screen recording feature is one thing which will allow developers to give a demo of their apps with ease. The most interesting part, is said to be the ability to even record the audio for the screen recording that you’d perform on the device.

We are keenly looking into these feature roll-outs, and our team will keep you posted about future updates on CyanogenMod. Here’s a video demo of the new screen recording feature on CyanogenMod:
