Steve Ballmer might be going through rough times now. But he is surely a rockstar when it comes to the stage for some developers and employees.
The CEO of Microsoft, who announced the plans of stepping down from the position in 12 months, bid farewell to the company. In a employee-only meeting on Thursday, Ballmer bid farewell in his own way, by dancing to some of his favorite songs, and also tearing down on stage, getting all emotional.
The CEO has been inspiring a lot of the company’s employees, and he screamed on the stage saying the company’s employees to soak it in and inspired people saying that they’re working for the biggest corporation in the world.
While the company’s meeting is only for the employees, the good folks at The Verge got their hands-on the footage of Ballmer talking on stage. While we’ve been slightly feeling awkward about Ballmer’s stage presence before, we will definitely miss him on stage and in product demos.
Ballmer has been working with the company for about 30 years, and has been giving his full effort to bring the company to the level it is right now. The next CEO is still undecided and talks about Stephen Elop and other prominent people taking charge as the CEO are still in rounds.
