A blogpost by Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb has confirmed that the Xbox One will be launching in 13 countries on November 22nd. The launch will happen in initial launch markets like Australia, Austria, Brazil, France, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, the United States and the UK.
Apart from the launch date confirmation from the company, it is also known that the Xbox One will come with a lot of free titles during launch and the console has received a CPU clock speed boost before the release.
The launch is happening after a week of Sony’s much awaited PlayStation 4’s launch in these initial markets. The PlayStation 4 will launch on November 15th, and the device has been creating a huge buzz in the industry already.
The rest of the world will get Xbox One later this year, according to the sources.
