It’s been a really long overdue. Apple has been pushing the Windows users to use Safari to sync bookmarks with their iOS devices. May be Apple was thinking that having an iOS device with a Windows machine was an odd combination. But looks like the restriction is not there anymore.
Apple has updated the iCloud Control Panel for Windows with the ability to let users sync their bookmarks with Chrome and Firefox. This gives the users the freedom to sync and carry their bookmarks from Windows without the need of the Chrome’s completely build-in sync tool.
This is clear that Apple is not even turning towards Internet Explorer. But seriously, I think its high-time Microsoft does something about the Internet Explorer. Probably adopt popular technologies like WebKit to render content in them?
