In a surprising move by Apple, the Chinese Media has received an invite for a special iPhone event which is scheduled to happen on September 11th, the day after the iPhone event in San Francisco, California.
This might confirm that the company is all set to launch an iPhone, exclusively to the Chinese market. The event is happening in the World Trade Center, Beijing, and can we expect some of the top executives from Apple to be present at the event?
There are not many changes to the invite which Apple rolled out for the American Media recently. This move has added fuel to the rumored iPhone 5C, which is considered to be a budget iPhone from Apple. But we think the ‘C’ in iPhone 5C is indicating that the device is China-specific and might not be a budget iPhone after all.
China being the world’s largest smartphone market, its important for Apple to make the right moves to capture a large chunk of user base in the Chinese market. Apple might be on top in a lot of countries across the world as the major smartphone seller, but it has failed to do that in the Chinese market all these years.
