EA bringing SimCity for Mac on August 29th.

EA has finally revealed the launch date of SimCity for Mac. It would be August 29th the company would cut the ribbon off the game for Mac.

SimCity has been a popular hugely popular, but the Mac users have been waiting fore a really long time to get the game running on Mac. But all that would end on August 29th where EA would start selling the Standard Edition of the game for $40 and the Deluxe Version of the game for $60.

Interestingly, the game is cross-platform and players can now build together, independent on which platform they are using to run the game. The original debut for the game was planned in June, but was delayed due to various reasons.

SIMCITY FOR MAC IS AVAILABLE ON AUGUST 29

SimCity™ will be available for Mac exclusively as a digital release on August 29, 2013. SimCity is cross-platform compatible, so all players, whether on Mac or PC, will be able to play SimCity together in the online connected world and will be able to jump back and forth into their cities regardless of the platform.

Those players who have previously purchased digital and boxed copies of SimCity for PC will receive an automatic entitlement for SimCity for Mac via Origin™.
