Dungeons & Dragons: Arena of War launching on iPhone and iPad as a Free title.

The amazing Dungeons & Dragons: Arena of War by Mobage will be available for iPhone and iPad as a free title later this year. The company has confirmed.

The very old fantasy based role-playing game has been a game of addiction for many in the past. But now, the game is all set to take on the current generation gamers with its launch on the iPhone and iPad. The game will also be launching on Android pretty soon after its iOS release, which is set to happen later this year.

The game will be available for free, and I’m not sure how Mobage would monetize the game. One good and typical way they could monetize the game is by having in-app purchases to unlock characters in the game. But the other, but dirty way would be to place ads in the game, which would kill the user experience.

The company has also released a Teaser trailer of the game, which showcases some stunning graphics in it. The gameplay teaser reveals some insights about the game. And as usual, the gamers would be able to choose the characters to play in the game. The gamers who are waiting to try this game out can sign-up at their website to get a character unlocked only after the game is released to the public.

I’ll keep an eye out on this game’s release, and there’ll be a new post as soon as the game comes out on the App Store. Until then, here’s the teaser of Dungeons & Dragons: Arena of War:
