There were days when me and my friends used to write a small HTML 5 app which would run full screen and display it to the speaker who’s on stage to keep track of the event timings.
Well, now, there’s this Google command which would now help you set a countdown timer. All you need to do is just to type ‘timer’ in the Google search field, and boom, that’s it. You’ll immediately see a timer in the search results.
Once you key-in the timer values, it would countdown till zero and it would alert you with a nice sound. Here’s a screenshot of the timer command in Google:
