The much awaited Moto X, Motorola’s first smartphone since the acquisition by Google is coming out on August 1st.
Motorola’s Moto X has been leaking so much off late, and the company has just sent out invites to some media publications for an event on August 1st. This confirms that the event on July 24th with Sundar Pichai will not talk about the Moto X, but they could preview the next version of Android, the Android 4.3 instead.
The phone will have an official launch on August 1st, and as the previous rumors said, the device will give users the ability to customize most of the parts on the phone. This has now been partially confirmed by the Motorola Mobility itself on Twitter.
Yep. This guy is building exactly what you think he is. Designed by you. Assembled in the USA. pic.twitter.com/U9fhJRDmmM

The device is also being assembled in Texas, US. While we will get some more details on the availability and pricing of the device on August 1st, I’m having my expectations low for an international launch.
