Apple’s recent downtime has let down a lot of developers who are waiting to release their apps or continue working on their developer builds. After about eight days of downtime, Apple has made available the iOS, Mac and Safari dev center for the developers today.
I’m quite surprised that a lot of people were expecting a UI overhaul when the developer portal comes back online. But I think Apple was working on their servers to fix and secure the user data involved with the portal. Right now, most of the developer services are back up online, except for the build systems, with which Apple seeds iOS and Xcode betas to the developers.
The developer center is expected to be fully operational next week, and the iOS Beta 4 might be out early this coming Monday. You can keep an eye on the Status Page which Apple has put for the development progress.
