Twitter has updated its Tweetdeck extension for Chrome today with cleaner look, flat design, improved navigation and much neater column arrangement.
Twitter acquired Tweetdeck a few months ago, and the company has decided to pull the plug off the Tweetdeck for Mac and mobile in the months to come. So the only live app that will be available for the users would be the Chrome extension of Tweetdeck.
The app has been updated today with a really neat look and improved navigation abilities. The navigation tools have now been moved towards the left, and the column management has also been enhanced in this new update.
Here’s what Twitter has to say about this new update:
In line with Twitter’s own design aesthetic, this update delivers a lighter and simpler TweetDeck design. We moved the top bar to the side, and created some significant usability improvements around column reordering and easier navigation.
If you use Chrome and Tweetdeck, the app should have updated itself automatically. If you wish to grab it for yourself, this is the link you should hit.
