An interesting report by the Reuters reveals that Microsoft has inked a deal with a mobile game development company to brings its Xbox and PC game titles to the Android and iOS platforms.
While the mobile gaming is taking a turn this year, with Android bringing real-time gaming multi-player gaming experience to Android devices, and iOS, updating a lot of its gaming APIs with iOS 7, and bringing support for third-party game controllers, Microsoft is planning to take advantage of this new boom in the market.
The software giant, has reportedly inked a deal with Klab, a mobile game development company, to bring its popular titles, Age of Empires to the Android and iOS platforms by the end of this year. Reuters also reports that the game will be a free-to-play for the mobile platforms. The company might be making some money out of it with in-app purchases.
The mobile version of Age of Empires has set me an expectation that I think Microsoft will reach. It was recently that the Age of Empires hit the Steam, with improved graphics. And the I just can’t wait to get my hands-on with the mobile version of the game.
