MedView brings enhanced vision and special capabilities to Google Glass.

MedView brings in some of the Super Human features to Google Glass. The new app aims to bring some much-wanted healthcare features to the Glass and I think its going to help the doctors and people at healthcare a lot.

Developer Lance Nanek has worked on a new app, that brings some really good capabilities to the people at healthcare using Google Glass. The developer has also put together a video which kind-of describes the functioning of the new app.

MedView has got some really interesting features like the ability to zoom the vision using the Google Glass’s Camera, Vein Overlays, Reminders for the Doctors and Nurse, ability to map a vein on the hand of a patient.

Here’s what the app is described to be:

“MedView for Glass can overlay maps of the body over your vision, enhance the colors of what you look at through the display, enhance your memory with useful checklists, and augment your vocabulary with terminology explanations.”

The app is open source and the source code is available on GitHub.
