iOS 7’s Safari got a whole new interface lift, and one such feature that many did not notice is the ability to close a tab with just a swipe.
iOS 7 is beautiful in some parts, and it’s too early to comment on its success. But the new operating system for the mobile devices brings in a lot of new features and a complete re-written backend code for Safari. The mobile browser also has a lot of UI changes, and I completely agree with one of my colleague, who said:
Apple: There’s no pixel that has been borrowed from iOS 6. And you’ll see that in the final release.

The new version of Safari brings in some of the desktop features like swipe to navigate, improved Reading List, iCloud Keychain, iCloud Tabs, Password Generator and even Shared Links. Well, there are even more features that Apple has not revealed in the promo page which the company has put for the iOS 7.
One such un-earthed feature is the ability to close a tab with just a swipe. Just do a Right to Left swipe on any tab in the new tab view, and boom, the tab gently disappears towards the left, bringing up a new page. I made a small GIF to help you understand how this works:
