AOL Reader launching this Monday. Native iOS and Android apps are on the way.

The Google Reader replacements are not going to end it seems. AOL, one of the largest online media company is launching its own RSS feed reader this Monday.

The company’s product leaked out hours before, and they’ve not officially confirmed that the rumors and leaks were true, and that they’re launching a RSS reader web app this Monday.

The new RSS reader gets AOL Reader as its name, and carries a tag line, which reads: “All your favorite websites, in one place.” The site, is currently in Private Beta, and at the time of writing this article, the site just shows a Launching on Monday screen, instead of letting users sign up for Private Beta as Noted by TNW.

The new RSS reader’s more details page reveals that they’re also set to provide an API for the developers, letting them easily integrate the AOL Reader with their apps. Now, I think this segment is getting fragmented. We’re going to be having a lot of different apps for a lot of different RSS readers, and the developers are going to be confused as in which API they should be bringing for their users to be happy.

On going through the descriptions page, the service seems to resemble Google Reader. With Favorites, Tags and some customization options. The company has also confirmed that they’ve got a native iOS and Android apps coming our way, with improved sharing options and better notification systems.

Looks like a lot of companies are trying to fill the space Google made on the internet.
