How to capture screenshot of an area on Chromebook?

You can take screenshot of a selected area (Not the entire screen) on your Chromebook (Chrome OS in that matter). Here’s how to do that.

I recently got the Google’s Chromebook Pixel from Google I/O and have been trying to get used to it for a while now. I’ve been constantly exploring the possibilities of making it my primary laptop, since most of my work rely on the browser and internet.

But then, here’s an interesting situation which might strike your mind when using Chromebook extensively. How do you take screenshot of a particular area on Chromebook? Well, there’s a way to do that.

The keyboard shortcut for selecting an area and taking a screenshot of it is Ctrl+Shift+[]||. Did you try? It’s that simple. But if you’re not aware, just press Ctrl+[]|| to take screenshot of the entire screen.

Hope this helps.
