Google brings Chrome App Launcher to Mac in beta.

Google has launched its Chrome OS module, the Chrome App Launcher for Mac in Beta. The app sits comfortably on the Dock opening the Chrome apps inside the Chrome browser.

Google’s François Beaufort, famous for his work on Chromebooks, today revealed this news. The Chrome Apps are nothing but the regular web apps that are written to launch them inside Chrome when clicked.

The app is now available on the Chromium build, and you can easily install the app on the build. Talking about this Beaufort said:

Chrome Team is currently working on bringing the App Launcher on the Mac platform as you can see in the screenshot below.

You can already give it a try by running the last chromium build available at download-chromium.appspot.com with the –show-app-list switch.

Now, get downloading. And also, the Rich Notifications from Chrome, which might lead to Google Now on desktop might be out anytime soon.
