Google Glass can actually exchange Contact cards from one Glass unit to the other. But with an app, which might come out soon.
Cecilia Abadie, a Glass Explorer has found a method (Not sure if that’s an app) that allows a Google Glass user to send a contact sheet to another Glass with a few simple steps. While it’s pretty early to comment on saying that this is a native Glass feature, there are chances that the exchange of Contacts sheets are done using an App built with Mirror API. But my strong guess is that this is a separate App built by her.
Cecilia Abadie states that it was fun playing around with mirror API, hinting that this is a app made for Glass. I’ve asked her if she could throw some more light on it. I’ll keep you posted about her reply soon. Until then, feel free to follow Cecilia Abadie on Google+. If this is a separate app, then its’ going to be really useful for the explorers.
Also, as the screenshot says, the sharing info also has a section which reads Just Met, essentially showing information about when you met someone to whom you’re sharing the contact sheet right now.
I personally think this is a cool hack to do with Google Glass. And I’m sure Google I/O has a lot to offer on the Mirror API next week.
