Apple just unveiled a new iPod Touch with 16GB storage capacity and without rear-camera for $229.
The new iPod, comes with lower price point with Retina display and without a rear-camera. The new device just has a 16GB storage capacity and is now available on the Apple Online store.
This is something interesting, since no one expected a release from the company before WWDC 2013, which is scheduled to happen on June 10th, where Apple is expected to unveil the new iOS, Mac OS and much more which we cannot predict.
Now that a new low-version iPod Touch is out, the older iPod Touch is now discontinued. The new device comes with a spec that’s pretty close to the new generation iPod Touch. With a 4-inch Retina display, A5 processor, a front-facing camera and the latest iOS, the device is definitely promising for the current price point.
Well, what’s up next? We will have to wait until WWDC to know more. And since Tim Cook has revealed earlier, the iOS 7 is going to be really important for the company to get back some of the lost users.
