Looking for the apps that you’d need to update today? Here’s the glance at what apps have received some of the notable updates and what apps should be updated to take advantage of the fullest.
This Geek Center Section would bring you all the updates from the App Store as and when something notable happens for the apps that most of the people would have on their iPhones or other iDevices. Let’s jump right into it now.
Tweetbot 2.8:
The first in line for us today is Tweetbot. The most powerful Twitter client for the iPhone and iPad got its update today, with media timelines, a lot of annoying bug fixes and boy a cool new Facebook inspired Image viewer. The app now carries the 2.8 version number and is definitely worth sitting on your homescreen. Now, if you’ve already purchased, just click here, and get updating. And that’s Tweetbot for you. Let’s move on to the next now.
Pocket for iOS:
This is probably the app that’s always open on my iPhone, iPad and Mac. I’m a little bit of a lazy as well as quick reader. The title is what gets me into an article, and most of the times, whenever I see an interesting article, I push it onto Pocket, and keep the rest for my bed time reading. The app received an interesting update, which would let you reblog or send directly to your WordPress.com blog or Tumblr.
The app also received a new Send to Friend (Sounds nice right? Send to Friend) feature, which will allow you to share your Pocketed articles with your friends. If you’re a little lazy reader like me, get updating, and share some articles with me. Head straight to the app store, and grab this update for the wonderful free app.
Drafts for iOS:
Next up in our Update Bucket today is one of the most powerful and simple to use app, Drafts. I’ve been using Drafts since it launched, and it has been sitting on my homescreen ever since. The app today received an update, that brings in a lot of powerful improvements to its existing URL Schemes. The app now has better integration with Evernote, and Viticci from MacStories has done the best Drafts workflows I’ve ever seen. The app is now available on the app store for the users who really paid for it. Get the update from here for the iPhone and here for the iPad.
And many many more…
These are some of the most commonly used apps that received a huge update. But there might be some more apps that you’d have purchased from the App Store. Just head to the Updates section of the App Store, and you’d be good from then. Have fun! Meet ya tomorrow!
