Samsung Galaxy S4 is now out in the market, and here’s some bad news for the new buyers. The device, which is supposed to give users ample amount of space to use the device, now comes with almost half the space already used by the devices’ firmware.
Imaging getting a device, which has been out in the market recently, and with the excitement, you buy the device, and to your surprise, you find that almost 45% of the storage space has already been used by the stock OS and other apps that come pre-installed with the device.
The screenshot below pretty much gives you the entire picture of what the device is going to offer you out of the box:
The device, which is available now with the US carriers like AT&T and Sprint, has this feature of giving you HALF the storage space that’s been promised. You will be able to see the available storage in the Settings > More > Storage. As depicted in the screenshot, the device has a 9.12GB of usable storage for its owners.
If you have picked one up at your local AT&T or Sprint store, you can check your storage by going to your settings menu, clicking on the ‘More’ section then selecting Storage. My sprint Galaxy S4 review unit is showing 9.62GB which is 40% of the total space.
