Google has updated its iOS app with Google Now capability. Literally, Google Now is in more iOS users than the original Android users.
The app will definitely have fewer Google Now cards on iOS since it does not have the permission to run in the background completely. But then, thanks for the iOS’s background location tracking features, which would let the app keep track of your data.
Here’s something which is important to know. If you’ve seen the Google Now on Android, and if you’re expecting the same kind of sync to work together in iOS, it is not going to happen. The App also will not use the iOS notifications to push important updates. But then, you’ll sometimes have to look into the Google Search app to know your updates. Which I think is still fine at this point of time.
