Panic’s Status Board for iPad came out this week on the App Store, and it has been getting some mixed response so far. But this review by Federico Viticci is probably the best among all others I’ve read.

When Status Board came out on the App Store, I was double minded as in to get the app or not, considering the use of it for me, and also the cost. Ultimately, he concludes saying that Status Board is for those who have their iPad almost idle when working on a Mac or a desktop machine. And I think its true:

“I like Status Board and I use it when I’m primarily working on a Mac – but that’s becoming more and more unusual for me. If your iPad often sits unused on a desk and you like the idea of turning it into a beautiful dashboard, you should get Status Board.”

Right now, I really think Status Board will be super useful for me, and I’ve already in the pursuit of purchasing it.
