- Open Messages app on your Mac and go to its Preferences
- Now, remove the App.net account from the list of accounts
- Quit Messages
- Now, Open a New Finder Window, and choose the Go option from the Menu
- Select Go to Folder option and enter the following address: /Library/Messages/Plugins/
- Now, Look for Amy.imserviceplugin and Delete the folder
