Huawei is now at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, and the company is releasing its Ascend P2, a Jelly Bean device, with an impressive display and a 13 megapixel camera. The device has fallen short of the rumors, which surfaced saying that the P2 would sport a 1.8GHz Processor.
Last year, at the Mobile World Congress, Huawei unveiled its Ascend devices and took the industry by storm, claiming the device to be the most powerful device ever built, and it was true for a while. And now, the company is back at the Mobile World Congress 2013, for the release of the Ascend P2.
The company has put the Ascend P1 on diet, reducing the P2’s thickness to just 8.6 millimeter. Ascend P2 has indeed let down the rumor mill by bringing in just 1.5GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, instead of the 2GB RAM and 1.8GHz processor. With a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, the device looks promising. Here’s the configuration of the new Huawei Ascend P2:
