HTC has just announced it’s newest flagship boldly named as the HTC One. The phone’s design language slightly looks like the iPhone 5, but then the company need not worry about it since they’ve got a patent licensing deal with Apple.
Post-CES 1080p display panels seem to be the latest craze with HTC equipping it’s flagship with a 4.7-inch 1080p Super LCD 3 display. Pixel density comes down to 468 dpi and the screen is bounded by Gorilla Glass 2. Inside the HTC One is powered by a 1.7GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM. The device weighs in at 143gm but does not compromise on radios for WiFi a/ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and even an IR blaster. Expandable memory is notably absent.
In the front the device is equipped with a 2.1MP 1080p wide-angle camera and on the rear lies what HTC call an UltraPixel camera. In lay mans language you basically get a 4-megapixel BSI sensor and f/2.0 lens but each pixel here captures 300% more light. The chassis also features image stabilization along with HTC’s ImageChip 2 for HDR, 1080p and 60fps video.
The phone also features what HTC hail as BoomSound.

The device is packed in a clean aluminum body very similar to Apple’s iPhone 5. HTC have also debuted a service called the Zoe which basically lets users share Vine-like videos through HTC’s website.
The phone will go on sale during March in80 countries, with 185 carriers across the globe, and will come in 32GB and 64GB variants. No word on pricing yet. If you’re a fan of the tabular specification list, you have it now:
