Google Glasses arrived well ahead of when we were expecting for such a technology to come into real life at last year’s Google I/O. And the company also opened pre-orders for the explorer edition Google Glasses, which were limited to the developers in the US.
Interestingly, almost after 10 months since its preview, and making some public appearances, Google organized a Google Glass Hackathon last month, with strict rules for the participants who had the Project Glass with them. Despite the strict NDA which they’d imposed, Google has posted some pictures from the hackathon, to give us a glimpse of how the Project Glass would look like in real-world.
It is also noted that the Project Glass Hackathon went on very productively, with over 80 new uses of Google Glass in real-world. Also, there were eight winning teams, which would get Explorer Edition headsets from Google.
