Apple have just put up the Apple TV product page on their Indian website as they launch the Apple TV in the country for Rs.7,900
Having launched the iTunes Store in India, Apple has paved the way for yet another product into the Indian subcontinent. The Apple TV is essentially a digital media box that streams content from iTunes and other web services and also enables mirroring and streaming of content from OS X and iOS devices through AirPlay.
Following nearly 400% growth in the last 3 months the iPhone maker continues to expand it’s array of offerings in this country. Although the Apple TV won’t turn your living room into a media heaven it’s a nifty little device to own especially if you posses other iDevices.
So far none of the resellers are showing Apple TV in their inventory but give it a night and they shall have it.
