To be noted at CES 2013: Panasonic Bone conduction headphones

Panasonic’s Bone conduction headphones are really impressive, as they do not even enter your ears to pump the sound, but they pump the sound directly into the skull of your head. Let it be a song or a sound, its the brain that enjoys and creates the pulses right? No matter how it reaches the brain, and this is the concept that Panasonic has thought of.

We’re in a age where technology is taking a huge turn, and today, we’re reaching a stage where sounds does not have to enter the body, only via our ears. Panasonic has now joined the bone conduction headphones, which induct sounds directly through the bone rather than the ears. The headphone is bluetooth enabled, and is a wrap-around type headphones, which sits comfortably outside of your ears.

These headphones lets the user hear both the ambient noise and also the songs from the headphones. Users who tried this prototype were amazed by the outcome from the headphones. But these are just prototypes, which are expected to hit the mainstream market pretty soon. Pretty cool. Isn’t it?
