3 months after the revelation the high end Lumia phones are finally making into India. Starting tomorrow the Lumia 920 and 820 will go on sale and will set you back Rs. Rs. 38,199 & Rs. 27,559.
However it’s a different story if you purchase your device online. Flipkart is selling the Lumia 920 for just Rs. 36,999 and the 820 for a discounted Rs. 26,999.
The Lumia 920 is high speced Windows 8 phone with an 8.7MP PureView camera with OIS. Meanwhile the Lumia 820 is essentially a stripped down 920 with an inferior display and camera. Both the devices are brilliant when it comes to looks.
Alongside these Nokia is also set to launch the Lumia 620 here in the wee days of February. The low end Windows 8 phone is aimed at markets such as ours and will be costing around Rs. 13,000.
The two Lumias are essentially Nokia’s comeback and reclaim their past glory. Although the price tag isn’t exorbitant it isn’t very competitive but could help Nokia regain some of it’s lost market.
