LG revealed that they are already having about 300 customers who are waiting to own the $22,000 4K Ultra-HD TV. The orders have shot to 300 despite the fact that there are not much 4K content to watch with these TVs.
LG unveiled a whooping 84-inch 4K Ultra-HD TVs at the CES 2013, and it also go listed on the Best of CES 2013 by 4Cast. Even though it is know that there are very limited content that can be watched in these typed of TV sets, the company has about 300 customers who have cashed out to own these TV sets. That is not the interesting part here. But as the title says, each TV costs about $22,000 and that is equivalent to a super expensive car.
While some predicted that the new 84-inch 4K TV would interest the people, I did not believe that it would happen. But looking at the stats that has been acknowledged by the company, looks like I was completely wrong. I also had a thought that these TVs were made just to showcase their technical ability and would not interest the customers right now.
If you are one of those who would shed a $22K for a TV, hold on until some more content which are of 4K quality hits the market. On the other hand, this is really impressive. And I think LG is the only company which has managed to sell these many 4K TVs in a short span, when compared to its competitors.
