LG today debuted its improved version of the super hit Optimus G with a Pro version. With the launch of Optimus G Pro, the company joins the race of the 5 inch smartphones in the market.
Looks like the list of 5 inch smartphone list is never going to be ending. Today, LG debuted its new 5-inch smartphone, and named it after its super successful Optimus G. The new Optimus G Pro comes with a 5-inch display with a whooping 1080p display resolution. The device also sports a 1.7GHz S4 processor and a 2GB RAM. The device runs Android Jelly Bean, which is backed up by a 3000mAh battery, which is pretty impressive.
LG has also given some impressive storage options like a 32GB onboard memory and also a microSD card slot to extend the storage for crazy geeks. Optimus G Pro also has a LTE capability, and we think this would be a super good competitor for Samsung devices that falls along the same lines.
About the availability, the device would hit the Japanese market in the next quarter. We’re still not sure about the availability of the device internationally.
