Apple released the final version of iOS 6.1 to the customers today, and the update is available via OTA as well as via iTunes. The new version brings some minor UI tweaks, new APIs for the developers, ability to book movie tickets via Siri and some more features.
It was just a few days ago that Apple released a beta of the iOS 6.1 to the developers, which we speculated to be the final build. And yes, we were correct. Apple today rolled out the final release of iOS 6.1 to the customers. The update is available via OTA and also via iTunes.

The update contains the following new features and improvements:
- LTE support for more carriers (complete list of supported carriers at www.apple.com/iphone/LTE)
- Purchase movie tickets through Fandango with Siri (USA only)
- iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud
- New button to reset the Advertising Identifier
